Kaiser Hot Spring

  • Location: Southeast of Wikieup - By Mile Marker 135
  • Distance: 3.00 miles roundtrip
  • Elevation: Unknown
  • Difficulty: Moderate - deep sand (depends on fitness level)

Driving Directions

From Kingman drive East on Interstate 40 for 26 miles to U.S. Hwy 93, exit right on U.S. Hwy 93 and travel 32 miles through the town of Wikieup. Shortly after mile marker 135, you will see a small turnout onto a road to the right (you have gone to far if you cross Kaiser Canyon Bridge). The turnout is a small road that goes through a cattle gate. Drive through the cattle gate and park in the level area about 100 yards down the hill.  The parking area is immediately above the wash which you have to hike down into

Trail Information

Hike down the main wash for about 1.5 miles to the hot spring. The spring is small and can be easily missed so keep your eye out for seeping water and small pools.

The hot springs collect into a small man made concrete and rock made tub that is 4’x4’ and about 2’ deep with water temperature about 95 degrees. Hiking terrain is in deep sand and small gravel.  The man made hot tub may be damaged as I have read in some of the articles on the web.  I have not personally visited this hot spring yet so the condition of the collection tub is unknown at this time.  Any updates that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
