Supai Trip Sept 12th, 13th,14th, 2008

Hello All,

I'm in the process of organizing another amazing trip to one of the most beautiful and remote places in the world.  Below you will see several options to choose from please pick the one that best suits your needs.  You will notice some of the fees have gone up and that is due to an increase in Havasupai prices that are not listed on their website (I found this out in May of this year when I went to pay after an 8 mile hike and they informed me of the changes at the tourist office, but not much you can do unless you want to turn around and hike 8 miles back - and they just said oh we haven't updated it on the site yet)

I will be setting the reservation by July 20th so please make your payment by that date.  If you wish to drop a check off by the Wellness Center you can do that as well.  All options below are for the deposit only. The reason the deposit is non-refudable is because I have to pay half the deposit when I set the reservation.  If for some reason you can not go as the trip nears if you can find someone to take your place and pay you back the deposit thats not a problem.

For complete day by day details click Supai Checklist in the upper left corner.

This trip is open to everyone and is kid friendly.  There has been several kids go every year.  Everything will be completely taken care of all you do is show up and have a great time.  There are people that I have never meet before that go each year and we all have a blast and always have several new friends by the end of the trip.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by email or call 928-279-6816.

Here is what others have said about the trip and their experience:

For an unforgettable opportunity to experience our native friends the Havasupai tribe and explore their breath taking village and surrounding lands, come join us in September and hike the trail.... You will enjoy a weekend full of hiking, swimming, and trail blazing through blue green waterways.

Aaron is an experience tour guide and hiker. I have hiked this trail with Aaron every year he has gone. The reason I go with Aaron is that if I went on my own, I would not have experienced the uncharted exploration through the magnificent waterways and waterfalls.

Since you live in Arizona, do not miss the opportunity to experience the wonders of our state.  Susan Williams, Kingman AZ

I would like to thank Aaron for taking us to a most beautiful place I have seen. Supai is an astounding, spectacular place to see. With water falls of great proportion, and water the most beautiful color. I would recommend it to anyone. My daughter and I took the trip for our last mother daughter outing before she goes to college. We found water with all kinds of life in it, great trails to hike and the ability to talk for hours alone, no interruptions. This is my second year to go, and I am sure I will go again in the future. Take the hike and have fun. Thanks again Aaron.  Leslie Pascual, Kingman AZ

Pack horse option - you can pack up to 30-35 lbs of your gear into a duffel bag for the horse to pack in and out.  This is hihly recommended as it makes your trip more enjoyable if you dont have to carry 40 lbs on your back in and out.

Food option - this option is new this year and we will get an additional pack horse to carry down a grill and a couple of ice chest full of food.  Instead of eating dehyrated meals all trip you can have real food and after a long day of hiking its much needed.  By the time you buy several dehyrated meals at $6.99 a piece it makes more sense to choose this option.
