Driving Directions

Driving from Kingman heading to Las Vegas on Hwy 93 after mile marker 4 you will turn Left onto a paved road.  It will sneak up on you so pay close attention. 

Trail Information

At the parking area there is information about the hike.  It is a 3 mile hike down to the Colorado River.  The hike begins by following the trail down into a wash.  You then contiune hiking down the wash until you reach the Colorado River.  Once you get to the Colorado River keep your eyes open for signs.  You will continue hiking Left at the river and the signs will lead you up into the Arizona Hot Springs.  As the hot-spring water does not reach the Colorado River on the surface, as you hike up into the hot springs  you notice water flowing down. As you continue up the canyon you will reach some saoking pools, and eventually a large ladder which takes you up to other pools and waterfalls.

Warning- Naegleria fowleria, an amoeba common to thermal pools, may be present and could enter through the nose causing a rare infection and death. Do not dive into pools, splash water, or submerge your head.

Camping: Yes - There are many areas to camp near the Colorado River. There are no actual developed camping sites here but there are many areas that contain lots of sand which will make for suitable camping.

Restrooms: Yes - There is a portapottie near the river.

Kid Friendly: Yes - The hike is considered kid and famliy friendly because the kids can get in the water at the Colorado River or play in the hot springs.
